Aisling Bea
Aisling is a popular Irish comedian that has been in the business for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. She has been featured on QI, alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage title Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian following her appearance in a few roles for Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. Bea began performing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following her win of an award for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sister named Sinead. She became only the second female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea, her maiden name, was a tribute to her late dad. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life when he was just three years old. He was a horse veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing before she reached the age of 13. In honor of the man she loved, Bea took the stage name Bea and in 2017, she wrote an article on suicides and deaths that affected her family members for The Guardian. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in a home by Helen Moloney, a teacher and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. They were both passionate about horses, race meetings and racing. Bea began her career as a tourist guide at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her love was doing and not racing.
