Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. They include British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as well as French history mini-series Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for both the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
